Mach 4D — Legal Policies

These policies govern your use of mach4d.com, owned, managed, and operated by Mach 4D. By using the Site, placing an order, or uploading a model or design file, you agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookies Policy below, along with any other disclaimers and notices that appear elsewhere on the Site.

1. Terms & Conditions

About Our Services

Mach 4D provides 3D printing, laser cutting, surface-mount (SMT) PCB design and manufacturing, file upload, and related design/manufacturing services. By uploading a model or design file, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to the terms below.

Errors on Our Site

Despite our efforts to ensure that the information on our website is accurate, complete, and current, there may be instances when information about a product, service, price, or stock availability contains inaccuracies.

We make no warranty or guarantee that the information on our website is error-free, complete, or current. We reserve the right to correct errors and/or update the content on our website at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order containing an error or inaccuracy, including after the order has been submitted, whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment processed.

If your order is canceled after your payment has been processed, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method. We also reserve the right to cancel or reject any order at our discretion.

We reserve the right to change pricing, terms, specifications, and turnaround times without notice. We may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time by updating the website.

Prices listed do not include shipping, taxes, or insurance unless explicitly stated. We currently ship within Egypt only; we do not offer export or international shipping at this time.

Uploaded Models, Design Files & Intellectual Property

By uploading a 3D model, laser-cutting file (such as DXF, SVG, or AI), PCB design file (such as Gerber, drill, BOM, or pick-and-place files), or any other design file to mach4d.com, you confirm that you own the rights to the file or have permission to use, reproduce, and manufacture it.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any file you upload does not infringe on the intellectual property, copyright, patent, or trademark rights of any third party.

Mach 4D reserves the right to refuse to manufacture any item that appears to infringe on third-party rights, violate applicable law, or depict or function as prohibited content (including weapons components, hate symbols, devices intended for unlawful use, or otherwise unlawful items).

Uploaded files are used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order unless you separately agree to other use (e.g., displaying your project in our portfolio).

Mach 4D is not liable for any dispute arising from a customer’s use of a design they did not have the rights to.

3D Printing & Production

Print quality and turnaround time may vary depending on model complexity, material, and printer availability.

We will provide a quote and estimated delivery time after reviewing your uploaded model; final costs may be adjusted if the model requires modification, supports, or specialized materials.

Minor deviations in color, texture, or dimensional accuracy may occur due to the nature of 3D printing and are not considered defects.

If a model fails to print due to file errors, unsupported geometry, or specifications outside our printer’s capabilities, we will contact you before proceeding; additional charges may apply for redesign or file correction.

Laser Cutting & Engraving Services

Quotes for laser cutting and engraving are based on the material, thickness, cutting length, engraving area, machine time, and quantity. Final costs may be adjusted if the submitted file requires correction, contains errors, or needs additional processing.

Files must be submitted in a supported vector format at the correct scale. You are responsible for the accuracy of dimensions, line types, and cut/engrave settings in your file. Mach 4D is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect scale, open or overlapping paths, duplicate lines, or missing elements in the submitted file.

Laser cutting and engraving involve heat. Minor burn marks, charring, discoloration, edge darkening, residue, taper, and kerf variation are normal characteristics of the process and are not considered defects. Dimensional tolerances may vary depending on the material and thickness.

Materials may vary in thickness, density, color, and grain between sheets and batches. We do not guarantee exact color or grain matching, and natural variation in materials is not considered a defect.

We reserve the right to refuse any material that is unsafe, unsuitable, or unidentified, including materials that release toxic or corrosive fumes when cut (such as PVC and certain coated or composite materials). If you supply your own material, you are responsible for its identification and suitability. Mach 4D is not liable for damage to, or loss of, customer-supplied material during processing, including warping, burning, or breakage.

Fine details, thin features, and small internal cutouts may be lost or damaged during cutting or handling. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you where we expect an issue, but we are not liable for fragile features that fail due to design or material limitations.

Surface-Mount PCB Design & Manufacturing

Mach 4D offers PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, and PCB design services. The scope of your order (fabrication only, assembly only, turnkey, or design service) will be specified in your quote or order confirmation.

For fabrication and assembly orders, you are responsible for providing complete and accurate manufacturing files, including Gerber files, drill files, a bill of materials (BOM), centroid/pick-and-place files, and assembly drawings or notes where applicable. Mach 4D is not responsible for errors, omissions, or inconsistencies in the files you submit, or for functional failures resulting from your design.

We may perform a design-for-manufacturability (DFM) review before production. A DFM review checks manufacturability only; it is not a verification of your circuit’s electrical function, performance, safety, or compliance. We may contact you to request changes or clarification before proceeding, and production time and cost may be adjusted accordingly.

Components may be supplied by you (consigned) or sourced by Mach 4D. Component availability, pricing, lead times, and manufacturer part numbers are subject to change without notice. If a specified component is unavailable, obsolete, or has an extended lead time, we may contact you to approve a suitable substitute or revise the order. We do not substitute components without your approval unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For customer-supplied components, you are responsible for correct part identification, packaging, quantity, and condition. We recommend supplying a reasonable overage (extra components) to account for placement loss, which is a normal part of SMT assembly. Mach 4D is not liable for counterfeit, defective, damaged, or moisture-sensitive components supplied by the customer, or for losses of components within normal process tolerances.

Standard tolerances and specifications for board dimensions, copper weight, finish, solder mask, and component placement apply as published or quoted. Minor cosmetic variations in solder mask color, silkscreen, solder joints, and board finish that do not affect function are not considered defects.

Unless separately agreed in writing, Mach 4D performs standard visual inspection and any basic testing stated in your quote. Functional testing, programming, calibration, and certification of assembled boards are not included unless explicitly agreed, and the customer is responsible for validating the design and finished boards for their intended use.

Boards and assemblies are provided for the customer’s own development, prototyping, or production use. The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the final product complies with all applicable safety, electrical, electromagnetic, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Mach 4D does not provide certification (such as CE or FCC) unless explicitly agreed, and does not accept liability for the use of boards in safety-critical, medical, automotive, aerospace, or life-support applications.

For PCB design services, the deliverables, number of revisions, and timeline will be defined in your quote or order confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ownership of the final design files transfers to the customer upon full payment, and Mach 4D retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, libraries, templates, and general know-how. Additional revisions or changes beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges.

General Production, Quotes & Turnaround

Production quality and turnaround time may vary depending on file complexity, material, component availability, quantity, and machine availability for any of our services.

We will provide a quote and estimated delivery time after reviewing your uploaded files. Final costs may be adjusted if files require modification, correction, or specialized materials or components. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.

Custom orders (including laser-cut parts and PCBs made to your specification) are made to order and may not be eligible for cancellation or return once production has started, except where the product is defective due to our error.
